3-Month Road Closure Near Lake Juliana Shopping Center: County
Auburndale drivers will have detours near County Road 559A as crews set up road closures for drainage work.
POLK COUNTY, FL — Roadway and drainage construction along the new Lake Juliana Shopping Center frontage closed William Van Fleet Road (County Road 559A) in Auburndale on Monday, and it will remain closed through mid-July 2022, a Polk County news release said.
Traffic will be detoured to C. Fred Jones Boulevard (State Road 559A) to bypass the closure. Related work will also require about two weeks of intermittent lane closures on County Road 559 from William Van Fleet Road to Lundy Road. Drivers can expect minor travel delays, particularly during peak-hour traffic.
