70-Year-Old Exposed Himself At Lake Fanny: Cops

A 70-year-old Winter Haven man has been accused of exposing himself at Lake Fanny.

WINTER HAVEN, FL -- A 70-year-old Winter Haven man has been accused of exposing himself at Lake Fanny.

Floyd Smith was charged Thursday with exposure of sex organs and issued a trespass from all Polk County Parks, according to Brian Bruchey of the Polk County Sheriff's Office, who said that the arrest was made at the Lake Fanny Boat Ramp.

"Detectives arrested 70-year-old Floyd Smith of Winter Haven after he exposed himself to an undercover male detective," said Bruchey. Smith was taken to the Polk County Jail on a $500 bond.

"It's unfortunate that we have to continue conducting these type of operations but we will not tolerate this type of criminal activity in public places," said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. "These are public places; parks and boat ramps are places where families go to enjoy the great outdoors, not to be exposed to this type of illegal behavior."
