• FL Man, Shot Killed Wife During Argument About ‘Monday Night Football’: Sheriff (patch.com) — Lakeland residents are reeling after deputies say a domestic dispute over a football game in the Highland City area ended with a husband fatally shooting his wife, critically wounding his 13-year-old stepdaughter, and then killing himself in Lake Wales. The injured teen, treated at Lakeland Regional Hospital, survived two gunshot wounds and is in critical but stable condition, while a 1-year-old was found unharmed in the home.
