Missing Man Located Safe: Winter Haven Police Department

WINTER HAVEN, FL — David Lee Johnson, 89, was located safely in Sebring, investigators said. He will be reunited with his family soon.

An 89-year-old Winter Haven man went missing from his home Sunday morning, and police are asking for the public's help locating him.

David Lee Johnson was last seen driving in a light blue Audi TTS near his home in the 1800 block of Lake Cannon Drive East at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Winter Haven Police Department said.

Investigators said his vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on Interstate-4 near Highway 27. Johnson's license plate is KYRT66. Anyone who sees this vehicle or has information on Johnson's location is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
