ALDI Sets 6 Hiring Events

LAKELAND, FL — Tampa Bay area residents in the market for jobs in the grocery industry may want to jot some dates down on their calendars. ALDI has announced six upcoming hiring events at locations across Tampa Bay.

According to the grocery chain, positions are open at its stores in Lakeland, Brandon, Bradenton, Auburndale, Pinellas Park, Plant City and St. Petersburg. Openings include store associate, shift manager and manager trainees. Store associates start at $12 an hour while shift managers make $16.50 per hour, the company announced in a media release. Manager trainees are paid $49,920 a year and can make as much as $90,000, if promoted to manager, the company said.

Applicants must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Employees at ALDI must also be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday and be able to lift at least 45 pounds. ALDI staff members who average 25 hours a week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage, as well.

The upcoming hiring events are as follows:

• May 4 – 620 E. Brandon Blvd., 7 a.m. to noon
• May 9 – 6700 66th St., Pinellas Park, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• May 10 – 3021 James L. Redman Parkway, Plant City, 7 a.m. to noon
• May 10 – 2133 U.S. 92, Auburndale, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• May 11 – 4745 U.S. 98 N., Lakeland, 7 a.m. to noon
• May 11 – 1945 W. Lumsden Road, Brandon, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
