Car Crashes Into Bicyclist, Kills Man In Auburndale

AUBURNDALE, FL — A fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist occurred Tuesday morning on Havendale Boulevard, Auburndale police said.

According to police, the bicyclist was in the west far-right lane on Havendale when they fell off the bike, then a red car. hit them at about 5 a.m. and kept driving west in the 3100 block of Havendale Boulevard.

The identity of the victim will not be released until his next of kin has been notified., police said.
