SUV Runs Over Bicyclist, Driver Arrested (Video)

A 48-year-old New Port Richey woman faces criminal charges after Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies say she used her SUV to run over a bicyclist. She’s also accused of fleeing the scene, returning and then attacking the woman. The incident was captured on a nearby home’s surveillance camera.

Restaurant Inspections: Rodent Feces On Dishwasher, 30 Roaches

Prince’s Longtime Drummer John Blackwell Jr. Dies In Florida

One of Prince's drummers, 43-year-old John Blackwell Jr., has died in Florida. Blackwell's wife, Yaritza Blackwell, said in a post Tuesday on his official Instagram account that he died "peacefully" in her company. She thanked God for his life and his fans for their support.

Soaring Heat In Tampa Bay’s Short Workweek Forecast

Tampa Bay area residents and visitors hoping for a break from the heat aren’t going to get it in the short workweek ahead. According to forecasters at the National Weather Service, the region is in for a string of days with highs in the low to mid-90s with feels-like temperatures around 100.
