Car Flips Over, Kills Teen Driver: Lakeland Police

Investigators in Lakeland are asking anyone with information about a single car crash that killed a woman to contact them.

LAKELAND, FL — A 19-year-old woman was killed in a single car crash Thursday night in Lakeland on Sikes Boulevard.

The driver, Madison Ebie, was in a 2004 silver Acura driving northbound at 7 p.m. near the 500 block of Sikes Boulevard when she lost control of the vehicle, Lakeland Police said. The Acura drove off the road and flipped over.

Polk County Fire Rescue and the Lakeland Fire Department pronounced her dead at the crash.
