Child Porn Images Of Children Under 2 Found With Suspect: Sheriff

POLK CITY, FL — A Polk City man was arrested on child pornography charges Friday, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

Twenty-five-year-old Eric Olson admitted to deputies at his DeRosa Road home that he had been looking at child pornography since he was a teenager, according to investigators. Detectives found images on the suspect's electronic devices that showed children under two-years-old being sexually abused. Another image showed a child older than two.

"This man is a predator, and someone we might call a 'poster child' for the type of deviant who enjoys watching babies and toddlers being sexually abused," Sheriff Grady Judd said. Based on the statements he made, he should never have access to children."

Olson faces possession of enhanced child pornography charges and possession of child pornography, according to the sheriff's office.
