CSX may change the starting date and duration of any closure without prior notice due to mechanical issues or circumstances encountered as work advances.
Travel delays are anticipated as traffic will be detoured to bypass closures. Some detour routes are lengthy, and commuters are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Drivers are further advised to observe signs redirecting traffic and to add extra time to trips through these areas.
Due to longstanding statutory entitlements, CSX has considerable authority to close its crossings along public and private roadways.
Anyone wanting to report a public road rail crossing issue or complaint should call CSX at 1-800-232-0144 or email TellCSX@csx.com.
