Florida Lottery Monopoly Game Wins Davenport Man $2 Million
A Polk County man's weekend has turned richer after winning more than a million dollars in the Florida Lottery.

DAVENPORT, FL — A 45-year-old man passed go in Monopoly and won $2 million from the Florida Lottery Friday, a news release said.
Kirk Lupkiewiech played the $10 Monopoly Bonus Spectacular Scratch-Off game after purchasing it at Party Liquor, 2412 Sandine Road, Davenport. He has chosen to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,615,000. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 Monopoly Bonus Spectacular Scratch-Off game launched in July 2020 and features more than $162 million in cash prizes, including four top prizes of $2 million. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-3.44.
