Dodge Caliber Sought In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash In Winter Haven

WINTER HAVEN, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating a Dodge Caliber that was involved in a crash that killed a pedestrian Jan. 3 at 6:50 p.m.

The Dodge Caliber was heading east on Lake Howard Drive, east of 15th Street Northwest, when it struck a 59-year-old Winter Haven woman crossing the road. She died at the scene, according to troopers.

The highway patrol said the Dodge fled the scene after the crash. It is described as a silver Dodge Caliber with a Virginia license plate. It has right front damage and a missing right front antenna.
