Family Of 7 Displaced By Fire In Winter Haven
Fire swept through the home of a family of seven late Wednesday in Winter Haven.

WINTER HAVEN, FL — Fire swept through the home of a family of seven late Wednesday. The blaze broke out around 10:30 p.m. at 456 Avenue H SE in Winter Haven.
"When units arrived, flames were visible from inside the home," according to Jamie Brown of the Winter Haven Police Department. "The fire increased rapidly and flames soon burned through the roof of the house."
Brown said nine trucks and 30 firefighters fought the blaze. The family of two adults and five children were displaced by the blaze and receiving assistance from the Red Cross.

"There were no injuries during the event," Brown added.
