Auburndale Police Want More Information About Body Found By Two Men Fishing In Lake
Police are wanting information from the public about a dead homeless man found in a Lake Stella Monday.
AUBURNDALE, FL — Investigators are asking if anyone has information about a body found in an Auburndale lake Monday by two fishermen.
One of the men told Auburndale police that when he cast a line into Lake Stella it hooked onto something heavy. As both men were reeling it in, they saw it had connected to a body.
Auburndale Police Chief Andy Ray said the body is a 40-year-old homeless man.

Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma. An autopsy is scheduled to provide more information.
Detectives are trying to locate the man's next of kin.
