Florida Polytechnic University Hosts '#STEMTalks Virtual Reality: A World of Immersion'

The online event will focus on the latest trends of virtual reality programs as well as what the future will hold in technology.

From Florida Polytechnic University: Florida Polytechnic University will host #STEMTalks “Virtual Reality: A World of Immersion.” The online event will discuss and analyze the possibilities and latest trends of virtual reality applications, where the science behind this technology is headed, and how it will be used in the years to come. Participants are encouraged to submit questions to panelists before and during the live event via Twitter and Facebook by using the hashtag, #STEMTalks. Florida Poly Social Media Coordinator Richard Truncale will moderate the virtual event and welcome expert panelists:

  • Tyler Hopf, Creative Director at IrisVR, a software company that is revolutionizing how people interact with architectural visuals.
  • Russ Shepard, Director of Business Development at Aero Simulation, an aviation training company that prepares our airmen for the field.
