Labor Day 2021 Waste & Recycling Schedule For Polk County
The holiday weekend will cause some schedule changes for trash pickup, and landfill closings. Residents can check the altered schedule here.
POLK COUNTY, FL — Collection services in Polk County will be delayed by one day this coming week due to Labor Day weekend.
There will be no residential curbside collection services Sept. 6. Collection services scheduled for Monday, will take place on Tuesday; Tuesday services will take place on Wednesday and so on. Friday services will take place on Saturday. A one-day delay will occur for each day of the week following the holiday.
The North Central Landfill will also be closed Labor Day, according to the Polk County. It will re-open Sept 7.
