Lake Worth Veteran Honored Nationally by VFW for #StillServing
The national Veterans of Foreign Wars #StillServing campaign recognizes veterans who continue to serve in their community after the military

Lake Worth veteran Justin Eggen is being honored for dedication to country and community in the VFW #StillServing campaign. The national Veterans of Foreign Wars #StillServing campaign recognizes veterans who continue to serve in their community after the military.
A US Marine veteran who served on the front lines in Afghanistan, Eggen continues to serve helping veterans with PTSD by writing national award-winning poetry that dives into PTSD issues. Eggen has written nine books, two of which have won awards.
He says his poetry is fueled by his combat experiences overseas. He traveled across the country multiple times on book tours and signings and has been told that his poetry helps them come to terms with things they saw in their combat experiences.
