Maintenance Work To Close Sections Of Radford, Richardson Roads
Florida Gas Transmission Co. announced that a 6.3-mile section of its natural gas pipeline is scheduled to undergo maintenance.

POLK COUNTY, FL, — Florida Gas Transmission Co. announced that a 6.3-mile section of its natural gas pipeline is scheduled to undergo maintenance as a result of a hydrotest that took place early this morning.
The maintenance work will take place from midnight to 4 a.m. Thursday.
The hydrotest is part of FGT's ongoing safety management program.

The section of pipeline to undergo maintenance extends from north of the intersection of Old Bartow Eagle Lake Road with Radford Road to west of the intersection of North Maple Avenue with Shady Lane in the Bartow area.
The pipeline generally follows Radford Road, Richardson Road, Old Bartow Eagle Lake Road and a utility easement.

During this time period, the following road closures will occur:
- All lanes of Radford Road from Old Bartow Eagle Lake Road to Richardson Road
- North Avenue at Radford Road
- South Avenue at Radford Road
- Gate Road at Radford Road
- Alberta Street at Radford Road
- Denmark Street at Radford Road
- All lanes of Richardson Road from Radford Road to Griffin Road
- James Street at Griffin Road
Law enforcement officers will be stationed at pipe crossings during the work. Emergency vehicles will be provided access at all times.
