Kyle Raemisch, 21, has been charged with first-degree murder, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

POLK COUNTY, FL — A man who dialed 911 and confessed to fatally shooting his father in Winter Haven is behind bars, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Kyle Raemisch, 21, has been charged with first-degree murder, deputies said.
Just after 10 a.m. Sunday, PCSO deputies said they received two 911 calls in reference to the shooting. One call came from a neighbor who called to report that Raemisch was shooting a gun in the garage. While that caller was on the line with the dispatcher, deputies said he reported seeing the victim deceased in the garage.

Deputies said a second call came from Raemisch who told dispatchers that he shot his father and that he was dead.
After arriving on scene, deputies said they located Raemisch and detained him. Multiple deputies entered the home through the open garage door and saw the victim lying on the garage floor, obviously deceased.

Law enforcement said they conducted a safety sweep of the house to ensure no other victims were present. Located on a shelf directly across from the inside garage door was a semi-automatic (9MM) handgun.
Located on the floor of the garage were 14 spent shell casings, deputies said. In the foyer directly in front of the garage door was one spent shell casing. In total, 15 spent shell casings were located at the scene.
"Prior to Law Enforcement arriving, suspect Kyle Raemisch contacted 911. The suspect stated to the 911 dispatcher he had shot the victim and was following instructions from the 911 dispatcher. When asked where the suspect shot the victim he stated, 'The head.' When asked why he shot the victim, the suspect stated "Because of the money." The suspect stated he has been held hostage for far too long. When asked how many times he shot the victim the suspect stated, 'Too many times,'" a portion of an affidavit reads.
After deputies read Raemisch his Miranda Rights, he quickly requested a lawyer, the sheriff's office said.
In a video posted to Facebook, Sheriff Grady Judd said "Kyle is going to prison for a very long time."
