Man Critically Injured In Officer-Involved Shooting In Winter Haven
Winter Haven police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred early Thursday morning.
WINTER HAVEN, FL — Winter Haven police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred early Thursday morning. No officers were injured but a man has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the shooting occurred at the Haven of Lake Deer Apartments, 350 24th St. NW.
The man involved, Jason Pickles, 43, has a long history of violent crimes.
