Man Dies Of Stab Wound Following Fight At Winter Haven Publix Store
Winter Haven public safety investigators are asking for the public's help to identify the people involved in the stabbing death of a man.
WINTER HAVEN, FL — Winter Haven public safety investigators are asking for the public's help to identify the people involved in the stabbing death of a man at Publix in the Northgate Shopping Plaza Thursday.
At 1:35 p.m., a man entered Publix at 1395 6th St. NW, Winter Haven, and a group of men followed him inside. A fight ensued between the man and the group that followed him during which a man was stabbed near the store's counter.
The group of men ran from the store and left the scene. The stabbing victim was later dropped off at the Winter Haven Hospital emergency department entrance where he was pronounced dead.
