Motorcyclist Killed In Crash In Polk County
The crash occurred Saturday morning on South Florida Avenue, police said.
POLK COUNTY, FL — A Lakeland man died early Saturday morning following a two-vehicle collision in Polk County, state police said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 8:45 a.m. on South Florida Avenue.
Police said a Nissan Rogue driven by a 71-year-old Seffner woman was traveling south when it made a left-hand turn into the path of a Yamaha motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old Lakeland man.

The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.
