National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Polk County Locations
If you have prescriptions you are no longer using, this once-a-year event gives residents the opportunity to safely discard them
POLK COUNTY, FL — The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will be Saturday at multiple Polk County locations.
If you have expired prescriptions or medications you are no longer using, this once-a-year event gives residents the opportunity to safely discard of these medications.
According to the National Take Back Initiatives Collection website, the following Polk County locations will allow residents to drop off unused prescriptions from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Saturday:

- Lakeland Police Department, 219 N. Massachusetts Ave., Lakeland
- Lake Alfred Police Department, 190 N. Seminole Ave., Lake Alfred
- Lake Hamilton Police Department, 100 Smith Ave., Haines City
- Haines City Police Department, 35400 U.S. Highway 27, Haines City
- Davenport Police Department, 16 W. Bay St., Davenport
