Parents In Polk County Can Change Learning Format For Children
The Polk County Public Schools District has given parents a temporary opportunity to change their child's school learning format.
WINTER HAVEN, FL — The start of the 2020-2021 school year has not been ideal for any parent or student in the Polk County area because of coronavirus safety concerns, and parents had to decide between e-learning and face-to-face learning formats for their children. The Polk County Public Schools District is allowing parents the option to change their initial enrollment choice.
Polk County parents can change their child or children's learning format on Friday until the end of the day by contacting their child's school administration office, Polk County Public Schools District said.
"We understand that this is a very different kind of school year, and we decided to provide more flexibility after families had a chance to experience the first week of school," said the school district.
