No Bomb In Suspicious Package At College: Police
Polk State College was on a brief lockdown Monday as law enforcement officials investigated a suspicious package.
LAKELAND, FL —UPDATE: Authorities placed the Polk State College campus in Lakeland on lockdown Monday just before 1 p.m. when a person found a suspicious package on campus, Polk State College staff said.
Officials lifted the lockdown at about 2:30 p.m. after the investigation showed there weren't any threats from the box, staff said.
There was no one injured, police said.
