Man In Polk County Shot, Killed By Suspect Who Got Away
The Lakeland Police Department has begun an investigation about a fatal shooting that occurred inside a house early Wednesday morning.
LAKELAND, FL — An 18-year-old man died of gunshot wounds at a Lakeland house early Wednesday morning. a Lakeland police news release said.
The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 11th Street. The victim later died of his injuries at Lakeland Regional Hospital.
Police have not released additional information.
