Safari Wilderness To Host Pumpkin Safaris
The Lakeland wilderness park is offering the safaris as an alternative to the traditional pumpkin patch experience.

LAKELAND, FL – Safari Wilderness is taking an interesting spin on the traditional pumpkin patch this month.
Instead of taking a pumpkin home to potentially rot on a front porch, Safari Wilderness is offering Pumpkin Safaris during weekends in October. The safaris depart on the hour from 1 to 5 p.m. on the following dates:
- Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15
- Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday, Oct. 22
- Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29
Unlike other safaris offered at Safari Wilderness, advanced reservation is not required for Pumpkin Safaris. Admission for the Pumpkin Safaris are $39 for one, $75 for two and $145 for four.
