School Crossing Guards Needed For Upcoming School Year: Sheriff
Substitute school crossing guard positions are open in Fort Meade, Haines City, Highland City, Lakeland and Lake Wales, the sheriff said.
POLK COUNTY, FL — The Polk County Sheriff's Office is looking to hire qualified men and women who want to work as substitute crossing guards for the upcoming school year this autumn.
Substitute school crossing guards are needed in the following areas: Fort Meade, Haines City, Highland City, Lakeland, and Lake Wales, according to a news release.
Applicants should be available to work for one hour in the morning and for 30 minutes in the afternoon when scheduled to work a crossing, staff said.
