Silver Alert Issued For Lakeland Couple
Lakeland police have issued a silver alert for a Lakeland couple who suffer from various medical conditions.

LAKELAND, FL -- A silver alert has been issued for a married Lakeland couple suffering from various medical conditions, according to Lakeland police.
Gary Gross of the Lakeland Police Department said 62-year-old William Brooks Hooten and his 79-year-old wife Cruz Virgil Hooten, were last seen around 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of South Florida Avenue. See also Lakeland Couple In Silver Alert OK: Cops
"The wife suffers from dementia which has been verified by law enforcement," said Gross. "The husband is dependent on medication and should not be driving."

The couple is believed to be traveling in a blue 2016 Hyundai Tucson SUV with Florida tag IC2-6LN.
"The couple did not tell anyone where they were going and it is unknown who is driving," said Gross.

William Brooks Hooten is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 125 pounds. Cruz Virgil Hooten is described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 130 pounds.
