Kids from families having financial difficulties affording food can get breakfast and lunch free this summer program in Polk County.

POLK COUNTY, FL — Free summer meals for kids begin Monday in Polk County through the Summer Breakspot program.
A Polk County Public Schools news release said breakfast and lunch will be offered at no charge to all children 18 and under.
The difference in this summer's meal program is the food will not be available to take home; food is required to be eaten inside the facility, according to school officials.
