Polk County Sheriff's Office Searching For Murder Suspect
The Polk County Sheriff's Office was searching for a murder suspect and asked for the public's help.

FROSTPROOF, FL — The Polk County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday it was searching for a murder suspect in connection with a Frostproof slaying earlier in the day.
"Sheriff Grady Judd is seeking the public's help in locating an armed and dangerous suspect," said Carrie Horstman of the sheriff's office.
The suspect was identified by the Polk County Sheriff's Office as 30-year-old Taiwan Blandin.

Horstman said Blandin should be considered armed and dangerous.
"He is currently at large and has threatened to commit suicide or suicide by cop," said Horstman. "He was last seen driving a 2011 dark red Chevy Cruz with Florida tag NAG K37 and tinted windows."

Blandin is described as black, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds.
"If you see this vehicle or this suspect do not approach it but dial 9-1-1 immediately," Horstman warned.
The sheriff's office did not immediately release details about the slaying and was withholding the address where the incident took place.
