Woman Attacks Boyfriend's New Girlfriend In Parking Lot: Sheriff

An elementary school employee became aggressive with her ex's new girlfriend as she met them to pick up her dogs, deputies said.

LAKE WALES, FL —A 38-year-old Lake Wales school bus attendant is accused of attacking her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend Monday when she met them outside a grocery store to pick up her dogs, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

The victim sat on the passenger side of her boyfriend's truck in the Lake Market parking lot as the suspect, Christina Siddell, banged on the passenger window as she threatened to "whoop her ass," deputies said. She then jerked open the door and started pulling the victim by her legs to drag her out of the truck.

Authorities said the victim kicked Siddell away and closed the door.

“We expect more from our public sector employees, especially those we entrust with our children," Sheriff Grady Judd said.

Siddell was arrested at the grocery market, 4812 Timberlane Road, for burglary with assault because she forced her way into the vehicle and battered the victim., according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

In addition to being employed as a school bus attendant at Alturas Elementary School, she also works as a parapfrofessional at the school, police said. The school has not confirmed to Patch if she is still employed.
