Woman Purchased Winning FL Lottery Ticket Worth $1 Million At Publix

The 500x The Cash Scratch-Off game features a top prize of $25 million.

POLK COUNTY, FL — A Lakeland woman became a millionaire Friday after scratching off a winning Florida Lottery ticket she purchased in Polk County.

Allison Greschuk, 46, bought the 500x The Cash Scratch-Off game at Publix, 2040 Shepherd Road, Mulberry, a Florida Lottery news release said.

The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

Greschuk chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.

The $50 game, 500x The Cash, features a top prize of $25 million— the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50, according to the Florida Lottery.
