2 Arrested at Land O' Lakes High

They were on campus without authorization, according to the sheriff's office.

Two New Port Richey men were arrested at Land O' Lakes High School Tuesday, Jan. 11,  and charged with trespassing, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Colton Bradley Hughes, 19, and Brandon Curtis Sheets, 18, were arrested after they were located in the school cafeteria by a deputy, according to a Pasco County complaint affidavit.

The two men had not signed in at the front office and were on school grounds without authorization, the affidavit stated.

Neither are currently enrolled in a Pasco County school, however, both were previous Pasco County students and "have been aware (of) student and visitor rules," the complaint stated.

The men were  taken to the Land O' Lakes jail without incident, according to the complaint.

Hughes and Sheets have been charged with trespassing on school grounds. Both were released Tuesday evening.

Sheets also is facing burglary charges stemming from an incident in October, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's website.
