2017 College Night Set For Pasco County Kids

Wesley Chapel High School is once again hosting a forum where students and parents can learn more about college.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL β€” Pasco County high school students and their parents who are interested in learning more about college requirements and opportunities available in the area may want to jot a date down on their calendars. Wesley Chapel High School is once again hosting a College Night for families across the county.

This year’s college night is set for Monday, Feb. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. It takes place in the school’s gym at 30651 Wells Road. While Wesley Chapel High School is hosting the event, the school district stresses it is open to all area high school students, especially 11th-graders, and their families.

The annual event is staged so families can learn more about admission requirements, SAT, ACT and ASVAB testing, majors, sports, special programs, tuition, financial aid and more. Schools that plan to be in attendance at the event include Pasco-Hernando State College, the University of South Florida, the University of Central Florida, University of Florida and Florida State University, among others. The district also said parents can expect to see representatives from the Army, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Navy on hand.
