After 34 years in U.S., Land O' Lakes Woman Wants to Repay Country She Loves
The Obama campaign volunteer spent the morning canvassing neighborhoods in the rain, reminding residents to get out and vote.

Hta Delphin has only lived in Land O' Lakes for about a year. But she's lived in the U.S. for 34 years.
And she's proud of it.
"I want to pay back this country because I love this country," Delphin said. "And I know this president will do the best job for this country."

Delphin was thrilled when she found the opportunity to get involved in President Obama's campaign on a local level, she said.
She spent the day canvasssing neighborhoods in the rain and campaigning at the Land O' Lakes Recreation Complex Tuesday "because I want to be a part of it," Delphin said.

Delphin said she has enjoyed every minute of the experience.
"Our volunteers are wonderful," she said. And of course, she's hoping for an Obama victory.
I'm not a blind believer." Obama is the best man for the job, she said.
"He's got so much to do yet," Delphin said.
