Did you know former Giant Homer Jones is believed to be the first player to spike the ball after a touchdown in 1965? Did you know he regrets that now-famous celebration?

Jones, 70, recently told the New York Times that if he had known what would follow from his original spike, “I wouldn’t have done it.”

“It caused so many things — obscene things and confusing things,” Jones told the Times. “I wish I hadn’t started it.”
