Books, Blood and Japanese: Land O' Lakes Library's July Programming

The best things in life are free, and that old adage certainly rings true when it comes to the Land O' Lakes Library.
We perused the facility’s calendar of events. Here’s what we consider to be the top five highlights.

Japanese Language Class: Are you a teen who wants to speak some basic Japanese? Here’s your chance to learn how. July 13 at 3 p.m.

Florida Blood Services Blood Drive: Here’s a chance to give of yourself — literally. July 11 from noon to 5 p.m.

Summer Reading Program: A continuation of the weekly summer reading program. Each week features a different craft based on the slogan “Dig Into Reading!” “Don't forget to log your 6 books by July 27th to be invited to the final party! Grades: K-5.” July 17 at 2 p.m.

Toddler Storytime: The name says it all. Thursdays in July at 10:15 a.m.

Summer Reading Program: Sew-per Heroes — Plumbers Underground: A continuation of the weekly summer reading program. Each week features a different craft based on the slogan “Dig Into Reading!” “Don't forget to log your 6 books by July 27th to be invited to the final party! Grades: K-5” July 24 at 2 p.m.
