Come One, Come All to a Glamorous Masquerade Ball
There are still sponsorship opportunities and tickets available for the Feb. 1 event, which benefits the Central Pasco Chamber at the Wounded Warrior Project.

Looking for something different to do this weekend? Pull out your fanciest frocks, grab a mask and head to the Masquerade Ball on Friday.
Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce honorary mayor candidate Lisa Rogers and her team have been hard at work planning the evening of glamour, which will feature everything from salsa lessons and a costume contest to silent auctions.
"There are going to be big things," Rogers said, including an opportunity to win a package that includes priority seating at an upcoming Dr. Phil show, a studio tour and more, donated for the cause by Ierna's Heating and Coooling.

Fellow chamber member Charlene Ierna "has been instrumental in guiding me," Rogers said. The planning and campaign have been a challenge, but if asked to do it all over again, "I would," the mother of six said.
There are still opportunities for other businesses to get involved as sponsors. Rogers is looking for two more $500 "platinum" sponsors, Rogers said. Those sponsorships include two tickets to the ball.

Items for the silent auction are still being accepted, as well.
Rogers also would like to sell at least 20 more tickets in the next few days in order to maximize the donations generated from the event, she said.
"I'm not looking for people to go out and spend a lot" on evening wear to attend the ball. You can wear what you have in your closet with a mask, Rogers said.
"I just want people to have a good time," she said.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the chamber, with 10 percent of going to Roger’s charity of choice, The Wounded Warrior Project.
Even if you can't go, it's a great opportunity to give something different to a client, Rogers said. Don't send them wine or a gift basket, "give them tickets to the ball."
The Masquerade Ball will be held from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. on at Spartan Manor, 6121 Massachusetts Ave. in New Port Richey. The event will feature hot hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction, best-dressed contest and a photographer.
Tickets are $60 per person or $100 per couple. Call Lisa Rogers at 813-458-9672 to have tickets delivered to your home or office. Cash, check and credit/debit cards are accepted.
