Commissioner to Address Republican Club of Central Pasco

Ann Hildebrand will discuss her years in office, her future and her thoughts on the future of Pasco County.

County Commissioner Ann Hildebrand will be the keynote speaker for the Republican Club of Central Pasco on Jan. 25. 

The public is invited to attend.

Hildebrand has served nearly three decades and has helped bring about large land use changes and growth in the Pasco parks department and public libraries, according to a press release.

She has decided not to run for an eighth term and will retire from the board this year, the press release stated.

Hildebrand has chaired the county commission six times and has served multiple terms on executive boards of Tampa Bay Water and the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority.  The commissioner will discuss her years in office, her future and her thoughts on the future of Pasco County, the press release stated.

Elections  also will be held for club officers. 

The Republican Club of Central Pasco is a "politically and civically active club that acts as an adjunct to the state Republican Party and the local Republican Executive Committee to help elect and support local, state and federal Republican candidates that share that same belief," according to the organization's website.

The meeting will be held at Plantation Palms Golf Club, 23253 Plantation Palms Blvd. in Land O' Lakes. 

There will be a social hour and dinner at 6:00 p.m. The business meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
