A Tuesday meeting between a Holiday man, his son and two potential buyers who answered a Craigslist ad about a dirt bike took a deadly turn when Tampa Police say the sale turned into a robbery. The two Tampa teenagers who reportedly answered the ad now face murder charges.

Tampa Bay Area Hotels Earn U.S. News Ranking
The Tampa Bay areaβs hospitality industry just got a pat on the back from U.S. News & World Report. While none of the regionβs hotels earned top rankings in the publisherβs2017 Best Hotels list, several did earn recognition. The rankings resulted from the evaluation of more than 3,000 luxury hotel properties in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Fire Hazard: Disney Mickey Mouse Nightlight Recalled
Walt Disney has issued a recall on a holiday-themed Mickey Mouse nightlight that poses a potential fire hazard. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, two incidents have been traced back to the lights. One resulted in an electrical fire.
Hillsborough County Sanctuary Status Supported By Diversity Council
Hillsborough County will explore becoming a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants if members of the diversity council get their way. The board, which serves in an advisory capacity to the Hillsborough County Commission, voted Wednesday night to recommend further exploration of the issue, several media outlets have reported.
Area residents who used a GTE Federal Credit Union ATM in downtown Tampa might want to check their bank receipts. A skimmer was recently found on the bank's ATM, and now police are asking for help identifying the two suspects believed to be involved.
