Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton: How Pasco County Voted
Republican Donald Trump won a landslide victory in Pasco County.
LAND O’ LAKES, FL — Pasco County voters turned out in droves Tuesday to show their support for Republican Donald Trump’s bid for the White House.
Pasco County had a total of 242,944 of its 336,037 registered voters cast ballots in Tuesday’s general election. With 107,674 registered Democrats, 131,006 registered Republicans and 82,724 “others,” the county came out in favor of Trump by a strong margin.
According to the unofficial results reported by the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Office, the breakdown was as follows:

- Clinton – 89,998 votes, or 37.04 percent
- Trump – 141,943 votes, or 58.43 percent
- Gary Johnson – 6,122 votes, or 2.52 percent
Most counties in the Tampa Bay area went red in Tuesday’s election. The same cannot be said for Hillsborough County where voters favored Clinton 51.49 percent to Trump’s 44.69 percent.
Pasco voters also went red in the 2012 election. In that race, they favored Republican Mitt Romney 52.48 percent to President Barack Obama’s 45.86 percent, according to records from the Pasco elections office.

Trump took the Sunshine State’s 29 electoral votes with a 49 percent victory to Clinton’s 47.79 percent, according to unofficial results from the Florida Division of Elections.
Results from Tuesday’s election are considered unofficial until they are certified by the state.
