Early Voting in Pasco Ends Today

Voters have until 7 p.m. Saturday to cast ballots ahead of the Nov. 6 general election.

Voters who turned up at the polls this week said the short wait for early voting beat the wait they anticipated for Tuesday's general election. And today is the last day to take advantage.

Voters have until 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, to cast their ballots early and avoid election day lines.

As of 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 2,  a total of 45,207 people had turned out in Pasco to vote since early voting started on Oct. 27. Another 51,405 people cast absentee ballots, according to the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections office.

What to Bring to Early Voting

Identification is required to vote in Florida. State law calls for both photo and signature identification. This means it’s best to bring a Florida driver’s license or a state identification card to the polls. If this type of identification isn’t available, voters can present two separate forms of identification that include a combination of the following:

  • U.S. passport
  • Military ID
  • Debit or credit card
  • Student ID
  • Retirement Center ID
  • Neighborhood Association ID
  • Public Assistance ID
