Get a Haircut, Fund a Cure for Lung Cancer
A local salon will donate a portion of the proceeds from their services in November.
Looking for a way to freshen up your hairstyle for the holidays and give back at the same time.
Book a cut, color and style at Blo Hair Studio and Color Cafe and 15 percent of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society in honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month. They are working toward a goal of raising $2,000 to help find a cure through research.
“Lung cancer has affected me personally. Five years ago this month, my father passed away from the disease,” Linda Knipp, Owner and Business Manager of Blo Hair Studio and Color Cafe said in a press release. “Being a part of this fundraiser is important not just for my family, but for the thousands of families affected by a cancer diagnosis each year.”
