Give Yourself the Gift of Glam This Weekend

Do you rely on snapshots taken at family events to use on social media sites and business cards? If you're like me, you've probably cropped a few distant cousins — or your mother who always closes her eyes — out of pictures to try and get a decent headshot. 

I ran across a flyer for what looks like a great deal yesterday, so I thought I would pass it along.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, Tana Photography at The Beck Gallery is offering mini professional photo sessions, with hair and makeup services, for $50. 

The price includes one retouched portrait on a CD that can be used for any purpose, owner Tana Brackins said. The photos are a good idea for people who would like a professional photograph for a dating site or Facebook, she said.

Appointments are still available and will be accepted through Dec. 2, Brackins said.
