Gardening For Kids, A Found Dog and Shark Week

FOR YOUNG ONES WITH GREEN THUMBS: The Land O' Lakes Recreation Center will play host to a Kids Day for Gardening on Saturday, Aug. 10. "There will be 5 stations where the children can learn how to grow plants from kitchen scraps to making a dish garden," the announcement reads. The event begins at 9 a.m. and is free.
