Holiday Shopping Event Welcomes Vendors, Shoppers this Saturday

‘Tis the season for shopping local, and Land O’ Lakes residents—and businesses—can get in on the action at Christian Brothers Automotive this Saturday.

Honorary Wesley Chapel mayor candidate Troy Stevenson is hosting a holiday shopping event featuring Christmas and Hanukkah items from 8:30 a.m.  to 1 p.m. on Dec. 1.

And there is still time for vendors to get involved in the event, which benefits the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club of Wesley Chapel.

Vendor spaces are $25, and vendors are encouraged to bring an item from their inventory to raffle off at the event, organizer Elisabeth Butterfield said.

All types of vendors are welcome, including crafters and those with yard sale type items, she said.

There will be plenty for shoppers to do and see, with vendors lined up so far selling everything from hydroponic gardening supplies to basket creations and baked goods, Butterfield said.

The Salsa Slow Cooked BBQ will be on site dishing up their own creations, as well, she said.
