A rash of auto burglaries in Ivy Lake Estates is under investigation by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

ODESSA, FL β€” The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rash of auto burglaries that have taken place in Ivy Lake Estates over the past few days.

According to the agency, the latest incidents in what it has described as a β€œcrime spree” occurred on Saturday Jan. 28. Deputies were called out to a home in the 16000 block of Nikki Lane in reference to an auto burglary. When they arrived, they learned of another vehicle that had been broken into. Deputies also responded to another incident on Ivy Lake Drive earlier that same day, an email from the agency said.

β€œAll vehicles were found to have been left unlocked and the items targeted were the contents within (watches, change, cash, GPS),” the email said.

Following the spree, an β€œenhanced neighborhood check was conducted throughout the neighborhood, door hangers left on residences, and surveillance at the gate is being looked into,” the email said.
