Ollie's, Buffalo Wild Wings Cited By State Inspectors

Flies in a sauce box are among the violations found recently in Pasco County restaurants.

PASCO COUNTY, FL – Flies in a sauce box and food stored at improper temperatures are among the high-priority violations Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation inspectors found recently in Pasco County restaurants.

Note: The restaurants that received high-priority warnings corrected the violations and passed subsequent inspections.

Ollie's On The Beach, 6438 Clark St., Hudson, received warnings for three high-priority code violations on July 11, including three dead flies found on top of containers of salsa In walk-in cooler (corrected on site) and shredded cheese, sour cream and tomatoes stored at potentially hazardous temperatures.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 26725 State Road 56, Wesley Chapel, received warnings for two high-priority code violations on July 11, including about 15 small flies coming out of sauce box and around rack holding wing sauces, as well as one small flying insect by hand wash sink, and another small fly at bar by hand wash sink. The restaurant also received a warning for having a pesticide-emitting above food on storage rack holding wing sauces.

The inspectors made note of six Pasco County restaurants that passed inspections without any violations in the last 30 days: Nekter Juice Bar, 3236 Little Road, Trinity; Plaza Mexico Restaurant Bar & Grill, 38361 County Road 54 E, Zephyrhills; Breakfast Station, 21519 Village Lakes Shopping Center, Land O'Lakes; Burger King 27010, 3063 Disciple Lane, New Port Richey; Stop & Play, 10933 U.S. Hwy 19, Port Richey; and Sliderz N More, 3031 Ellington Way, New Port Richey.
