Kitten's Leg Amputated After Found Caught In Tarp
The kitten underwent surgery Thursday to amputate his leg, and is now recovering at the Suncoast Animal Leagueβ in Palm Harbor.
PALM HARBOR, FL β This 5-week-old kitten was discovered with his paw entangled in a tarp.
Thereβs no telling how long the kitten was trapped there before an animal lover came along, unraveled the tarp from his leg and rushed him to Pasco County Animal Services.
Once the kitten, dubbed Pancake, was stabilized, the animal shelter took him to Pet First Veterinary Hospital in Trinity where veterinarians determined they couldn't save the kitten's leg.
